Served as editor for Texas State of Change, a data-driven digital reporting project funded by the prestigious Knight News Challenge grant, with the goal of creating a resource that examines the Hispanic serving institution status at Texas State. Texas State of Change was presented at the May 2012 Austin Hacks/Hackers meeting, featuring data-driven journalism initiatives. As editor of Texas State of Change, Sara spoke extensively about the process of developing stories, motivating reporters, and procuring data sources.
